Gnome Subtitles is a subtitle editor for the GNOME Desktop that supports subtitle editing, conversion and synchronization.

Its features include:
* Auto detection of the subtitle format
* Auto detection of the character encoding
* Support for time and frame based subtitles
* Support for the following subtitle formats:
- o MicroDVD
- o SubRip
- o SubViewer 1.0
- o SubViewer 2.0
- o MPlayer
- o MPlayer 2
- o MPSub (both times and frames)
- o Sub Station Alpha
- o Advanced Sub Station Alpha
* Support for the following synchronization methods:
- o Auto-adjust timings based on 2 correct times / synchronization points
- o Shift subtitles by a specified timing
- o Convert between framerates
- o Set input and output framerates
* Support for bold, italic and underline style tags
* Support for editing
