CAMELEO is a professional Unix software package, expert in acquisition (scanners or digital cameras), processing, retouching, composing, RIPping, lay-out and output (printers, film recorders, CD recorders and large format printers).

CAMELEO is the perfect complements to the tools used in CAD, design, technical desktop publishing, GIS, scientific and medical imaging and Web authoring.

CAMELEO is also widely known for its RIP capabilities in PostScript Level 2, PDF, and HP-GL formats. It offers the only Color Management System available on any Unix workstation: full ICC compatible and aditionnal Agfa ColorTune module.

CAMELEO allows you to take full advantage of Kodak's PhotoCD file format technology (both read and write) in conjuction with the CAMELEO CD-Recorder module available in multiplatform ISO 9660 format. CAMELEO is multitask, multiplatform and perfectly adapted to the power of Unix workstations (SUN, SGI, HP, Digital, IBM, Intel Solaris x86 and Linux).

Thanks to the Caldera technology for advanced memory management, CAMELEO allows the user to handle very large img and easily process and display files hundreds of MegaBytes in size. CAMELEO is a 1 to 16 bits per color component software (up to 48 bits RGB, 64 bits CMYK, 16 bits GrayScale, plus 256 transparency levels).

CAMELEO allows you the driving of dozens of peripherals from the major manufacturers on the market which were not available for Unix platforms users until today.
