Description
RipDVD is a "console based" dvd encoder that will produce high quality movies using XviD or X.264 video codec and MP3, AAC, FLAC or AC3 audio codec. It aims to replace all gui rippers (like Acidrip, DVD::RIP, etc...) which are very good though, but rely on the knowledge of ripping, which is not really user-friendly.

It provides sensible default values fetched from the dvd itself. The user has nearly nothing to do but answer the questions. Of course, expert users can override these values to put theirs.
