Description
ocube eases the use of tesseract, a free OCR-Software.

The script converts and scans one or more files. By default, everything (progress-, error-messages and output) will be shown on STDOUT. With the -e/-E option files already scanned are omitted. The same command can be used append scanned text to a file from a directory where new scans appear progressively.

ocube works well with xsane.
