Description
libgtk2-perl allows a perl developer to use the Gtk+ graphical user interface library.

The Gtk+ is a multi-platform toolkit for creating graphical user interfaces. Offering a complete set of widgets, the Gtk+ is suitable for projects ranging from small one-off tools to complete application suites.

The perl bindings follow the C API very closely, and the C reference documentation should be considered the canonical source: http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/index.html
