Description
DBD::Pg is a Perl module that works with the DBI module to provide access to PostgreSQL databases. It enables you to control a PostgreSQL database in a Perl script.

DBI is the standard database interface module for Perl. It defines a set of methods, variables and conventions that provide a consistent database interface independent of the actual database being used. More information about the perl DBI interface can be found on http://dbi.perl.org/
