Description
This package contains the ffplay multimedia player, the ffserver streaming server and the ffmpeg audio and video encoder. They support most existing file formats (AVI, MPEG, OGG, Matroska, ASF...) and encoding formats (MPEG, DivX, MPEG4, AC3, DV...).

Images must be in GIF, JPG, or PNG formats and can be no larger than 2 MB. Only one file can be uploaded at a time. A description can be included, but it is optional.

xvid support
The Ubuntu version of ffmpeg is not compiled with xvid support. If you need it I suggest using the Medibuntu version instead.
