Pan newsreader

Pan is a complete newsreader that comes in two varieties, 'Stable' and a 'Beta' release.

The Stable release is a very complete system but the Beta has some powerful advantages like faster with a smaller memory footprint and it can, contrary to the Stable version, handle popular binary newsgroups with very large numbers of postings.

Personally I find it a very good and easy binary downloader but less suited for text/discussion groups.
