Making a Live-CD of Ubuntu-910...

I am experiencing oh so much trouble and grief trying to create an Ubuntu-9.10 CD install disk of the system as I like it, so I can simply run DBAN-Autonuke on a corrupt OS, then drop-in the custom installation CD, eliminating the hours of downloading and installing everything I like the way I lies it.. Poof! Done...

I need this CD, as my secondary Internet PC gets hack-hit a lot by state of the art bullies...

Attempts to create this CD have all failed...

What is the best easiest method to create a Live-CD installation disk of the OS as I have it?..

What are all the options..? One just has to work...

_____________

Plus, I need Updater "download the updates", and various softwares, to be placed on a CD, to make some installations simple and quick...
I see the "Download Only" check-box, but where are those downloads hiding.. How do you get at them to get them to a CD..?
