gedit vs notepad++ < geany

Try Geany as a notepad++ replacement, it's awesome. Presently the only thing it doesn't do, is the new doubleclick word highlighting, and that's on the way. Conversely, there are many things geany does, which np++ cannot.


  • Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <cite> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd>
  • Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
